Football Camps Set at Southern Arkansas

Magnolia, Ark.-The 2005 Lil' Mulerider Camp June 6-8 is the first of several football camps to held at Southern Arkansas University this summer.
The camp, which is from 9 a.m. until noon, is for children entering grades one through seven. Fundamentals, drills, videos, and games are on the agenda. Campers may call (870) 235-4106 to enroll, or may enroll June 6 between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Cost is $45 per camper.
A 7 on 7 Passing Camp will be held Saturday, June 11, and another on Saturday, July 23. Registration is from 8 until 8:45 a.m. Rooms will be provided for campers who arrive on Friday, June 10, and Friday, July 22.
Games are planned on Friday night if enough teams are in camp. Cost is $20 per camper, including room and meal the two Friday nights. Games will begin the two Saturday's at 9 a.m. Camp cost is $250 per team (ten players). Any amount over ten will be $10 per person. If a school wants to bring two teams, the cost is $200 per team. The SAU Offensive/Defensive Line Camp is set for June 14-16. Three days will be spent on all aspects of offensive and defensive line play. The camp staff will include successful high school and college coaches from throughout the area. The camp fee is $175 for overnight campers, and $105 for day campers. Three meals a day will be provided for overnight campers, and lunch will be served for day campers. A $50 non-refundable deposit must accompany all registration forms. Players from eighth through 12th grades are eligible. Check in time is between 10 a.m. and noon Tuesday, June 14th.
The first annual Option Skills Camp and Coaches Clinic will be held Saturday, June 18. Players will learn the skills and techniques that have allowed Southern Arkansas to be successful in the triple option offense in today's pass-oriented game of football. Coaches may learn how SAU drills the techniques of option football. The Mulerider staff invites all skill positions (quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers) to the camp to receive specialized instruction. Registration will be June 18 between 9 and
9:45 a.m. Coaches will be available for questions when practice ends at 3:30 p.m. Cost is $25 a player, $35 for coaches, and $150 per staff (over four coaches). Lunch will be provided.

A certificate of release must be signed by parents/guardians, and participants to participate in all the camps with the exception of the Lil'
