ELON, N.C. - Coach Paul Hamilton's first Elon football team will conclude its 15-session spring practice schedule with the annual Maroon/White Game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Rhodes Stadium. Admission to the Game itself is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
Preceding the Spring Game, the Elon Athletics Foundation will host a "team meeting" for EAF members, parents of Phoenix players and Elon alumni at noon. Hamilton will speak to those in attendance and Huey's Barb-B-Q will cater the event.
Meal tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (12 years old or younger). Those interested in attending the EAF Team Meeting can RSVP with Jennifer Poole, EAF assistant, by 3 p.m. Friday at jpoole@elon.edu or (336) 278-6797.
The game will consist of a 15-minute first quarter and a 15-minute second quarter, followed by a 10-minute halftime, a 12-minute third quarter and a 12-minute fourth quarter. The final period will be timed with a running clock.
