Lou Holtz to speak at Wingate University Commencement Saturday

WHAT: Lou Holtz, former college football head coach, author, motivational speaker and college football analyst, will be the honored speaker at the Wingate University 2006 Commencement. He will also receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters.
Arthur Smith, famed songwriter, musician and country music TV show host, will receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters. Wingate University will award diplomas to 295 students.

WHEN: 10 a.m., Saturday, May 13.

WHERE: Wingate University Acadamic Quad, located on Elm Street in Wingate.
Directions: Take Hwy 74 East from Charlotte and Monroe to Wingate and turn left at the first stop light. Cross the RR tracks and take the second right on Elm Street. The quad is in front of the library building. (in case of rain ceremonies will be held in Cuddy Arena on Camden Road on the Wingate Campus.)
