CJOB seeks its first-ever female sideline reporter.

WBB RELEASE – 2004/082

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – MARCH 2, 2004

WINNIPEG, MB – Think you have what it takes to be CJOB’s first-ever female sideline reporter? If so, then Manitoba’s Information Superstation wants you for its Sideline Idol competition.

CJOB – the radio rights holders for Winnipeg Blue Bombers games – is looking for a woman who knows a thing or two about the game of football who can patrol the sidelines at home games as an official Bomber correspondent throughout the 2004 season.

Send a résumé and a bio to CJOB (and a photo and an aircheck if you so see fit) for your chance to compete for the Sideline Idol crown. Those people selected will be showcased every Friday from Mar. 12-Apr. 9 on Adler On-Line, where each contestant will be tested by the station’s official panel of judges before being voted upon on-line by CJOB listeners.

CJOB’s will announce the Sideline Idol winner Friday, Apr. 23 on Adler On-Line. To enter the competition, send or drop off your application to:
