FOOTBALL: SOUTHEASTERN TO HOST COACHES CLINIC

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana head coach Hal Mumme announced the second annual Lions Coaches Clinic will be held June 25-26 at the Hammond Holiday Inn Conference Center.

Nick Saban, head coach of the national champion LSU Tigers, headlines the guest speakers and will speak on Friday the 25th from 3-4 p.m.

Other guest speakers include: Steve Spurrier, Jr., a former coach at Oklahoma, Florida and with the Washington Redskins; Bill Bedendeaugh, Texas Tech Running Backs Coach; David Currier, head coach at Kentwood High School; and Shawn Bostick, Valdosta State Offensive Line Coach.

Also slated to speak are Lion coaches Gary Goff (Receivers), Carlton Buckels (Defensive Backs), Woody Widenhofer (Defensive Coordinator) along with Mumme.

The cost of the clinic is $35 per person for early registration and $40 per person at the door. Registration, which runs Friday from 11:45 a.m. – 2 p.m., includes the outstanding speakers as well as a Friday night dinner, hospitality and chalk talk.
