Whitewater's Beaver Top Rusher in College Football

Justin Beaver, sophomore running back at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, was the leading rusher in college football --- at any level, for the 2005 season.

Beaver, 5-9, 195 from Palmyra, Wisconsin, rushed for a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III record 2,420 yards in 2005.

Beaver helped UW-Whitewater win the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title, and advance to the title game (fifth round) of the NCAA III playoffs. He also played a significant role in UW-W setting school records for yards rushing, touchdowns, and points scored.
